General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Note on language: This English version is provided for your convenience. The legally binding version of these General Terms and Conditions is the German original. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and German versions, the German version prevails. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed through our online store. Our offer is directed at both consumers and business customers.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business, or profession.
A business customer is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of its trade, business, or profession.
The statutory right of withdrawal is available exclusively to consumers. Business customers are not granted a statutory right of withdrawal unless expressly agreed otherwise.
2. Contracting Party, Conclusion of Contract, Correction Options
The purchase contract is concluded with Geometree, Sascha Hatke, Aachener Straße 310, 50933 Cologne, Germany.
The presentation of products in the online store does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather a non-binding online catalogue. You can first add our products to the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order, using the correction tools provided and explained during the ordering process.
By clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the products contained in the shopping cart. Immediately after submitting your order, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of your order by email. This confirmation of receipt does not yet constitute acceptance of your offer.
The contract is concluded only when we accept your offer through a separate order confirmation or by dispatching the goods.
3. Contract Language, Storage of the Contract Text
The languages available for concluding the contract are German and English.
We store the contract text and send you the order details and our GTC in text form. The contract text can be viewed in your customer login.
4. Delivery Terms
- We ship the products to the delivery address provided during the ordering process.
- We deliver by shipping only. Collection of the goods in person is unfortunately not possible.
- Delivery to parcel lockers is excluded.
4.1 Pre-Orders
Products expressly marked as “pre-order” in the online store are not yet in stock at the time of ordering or are still in production.
By placing your order and paying the purchase price in full, you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded with our order confirmation, even if delivery only takes place at a later date specified in the product description.
The expected delivery time for pre-orders is stated on the respective product page. In exceptional cases, this may be postponed. Should the originally stated delivery date be delayed by more than 14 days, we will inform you promptly by email. In such a case, you are free to withdraw from the contract.
Payment for pre-orders is made directly during the ordering process. Later payment or cash on delivery is excluded.
The statutory right of withdrawal and all warranty claims remain unaffected by pre-orders.
5. Prices and Payment Terms
5.1 Prices
The prices stated at the time of the order apply. These are total prices and include statutory value added tax.
5.2 Payment Methods
Which payment methods are available to you in detail will be shown during the ordering process. In principle, the following payment methods may be offered.
Credit Card
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express. You provide your credit card details during the ordering process. Your card is charged immediately after you place the order.
PayPal, PayPal Express
To pay the invoice amount via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”), you must be registered with PayPal, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment instruction. The payment transaction is carried out by PayPal immediately after you place the order. You will receive further information during the ordering process.
PayPal may offer registered PayPal customers selected according to its own criteria further payment options within their customer account. We have no influence on the offering of these options; any further individually offered payment options concern your legal relationship with PayPal. You can find further information on this in your PayPal account.
Apple Pay
Payment is made via the payment method stored in your Apple account.
Google Pay
Payment is made via the payment method stored in your Google account.
Klarna
Purchase on invoice or in instalments with Klarna is possible, provided Klarna offers this to you. Processing is carried out by Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden.
Shop Pay
Convenient payment using stored payment information.
Other Local Payment Methods
Depending on the country and availability, Bancontact, BLIK, eps, iDEAL, MobilePay, TWINT, UnionPay, and Wero may also be offered. These payment methods are processed via Shopify Payments.
6. Voluntary Return Policy
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal (see Section 10), we grant consumers a voluntary return right of 30 days from receipt of the goods. This voluntary return right is available exclusively to consumers and does not apply to business customers. Your statutory right of withdrawal is neither restricted nor affected by this voluntary return right.
To make use of the voluntary return right, the item must be in the same condition in which you received it: unused, with all labels, and in its original packaging. We also require the receipt or another proof of purchase.

Within the scope of the voluntary return right, we ask you not to send items back without a prior return request. After we have accepted your return request, you will receive detailed shipping instructions from us. The exercise of your statutory right of withdrawal is not subject to any prior notification.

7. Damage and Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. Contact us at once if the item is damaged, defective, or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
In the case of defects, incorrect deliveries, transport damage, or other faults for which Geometree is responsible, Geometree will cover the necessary return shipping costs or provide you with a return label.
8. Exceptions to the Voluntary Return Policy
Excluded from the voluntary return right are in particular:
- custom-made items as well as goods made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs
- gift vouchers
- offer or sale items
These exceptions relate exclusively to the voluntary return right. Your statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected; it is excluded only in the cases provided for by law, in particular for goods made to customer specifications pursuant to Section 312g(2) of the German Civil Code (BGB).
9. Exchange
The fastest route to an exchange: return the original item. After the return has been accepted, you can place a separate new order for the desired item.
10. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. The details regarding the period, procedure, and consequences of withdrawal, as well as the model withdrawal form, are set out in our withdrawal policy. This forms part of these GTC and is additionally provided to you in text form.
During the statutory withdrawal period, you may inspect the goods as you would be able to in a retail store. Exercising the statutory right of withdrawal requires neither the original packaging nor prior notification.
In the case of a statutory withdrawal as well as a return due to an erroneous order, you bear the direct costs of return shipping. You are informed of this allocation of costs by this provision and by our withdrawal policy prior to conclusion of the contract.
11. Refunds
In the case of a statutory withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from receipt of your withdrawal declaration. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof of return, whichever is earlier.
Within the scope of the voluntary return right, we will inform you after receipt and inspection of the return whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be made to your original payment method.
Please note: it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

12. Warranty and Guarantees
12.1 Statutory Liability for Defects
The statutory liability for defects applies.
12.2 Guarantees and Customer Service
If a voluntary guarantee is granted for a product, the conditions are stated in the respective product description, on a separate information page, or in the marketing materials.
13. Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
