General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders placed through our online shop. Our offer is aimed exclusively at consumers.
A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to his commercial nor to his independent professional activity.
An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of his or her commercial or independent professional activity.
2. Contracting parties, conclusion of contract, correction options
The purchase contract is concluded with Geometree.
By placing the products in our online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these products. You can initially place our products in your shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the correction tools provided and explained during the ordering process. The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the products in your shopping cart by clicking the order button.
Immediately after submitting your order, you will receive a confirmation email.
3. Contract language, storage of the contract text
The languages available for concluding the contract are: German, English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Polish.
We save the contract text and send you the order details and our General Terms and Conditions in text form. The contract text is available in our customer login.
4. Delivery conditions
- We ship the products to the delivery address specified during the ordering process.
- We only ship by mail. Unfortunately, pickup is not possible.
- Deliveries to packing stations are excluded.
5. Prices and payment terms
5.1 Prices
The prices stated at the time of the order apply. These are total prices and include VAT.
5.2 Payment methods
The following payment methods are generally available in our shop.
Prepayment
If you choose to pay in advance, we will send you our bank details in a separate email and deliver the goods after receipt of payment.
Cash on pickup
You pay the invoice amount in cash upon collection.
credit card
During the ordering process, you enter your credit card details. Your card will be charged immediately after you place your order.
SEPA direct debit
By placing your order, you grant us a SEPA direct debit mandate. We will notify you of the debit date at least one banking day in advance (so-called prenotification). A banking day is every working day, except Saturdays, federal public holidays, and December 24th and 31st of each year. Your account will be debited before the goods are shipped.
PayPal, PayPal Express
To pay the invoice amount via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à rl et Cie, SCA, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg ("PayPal"), you must be registered with PayPal, authenticate yourself with your login details, and confirm the payment order. The payment transaction will be processed by PayPal immediately after you place your order. Further information will be provided during the ordering process.
PayPal may offer additional payment methods in the customer account to registered PayPal customers selected according to its own criteria. However, we have no influence on the availability of these methods; additional individually offered payment methods affect your legal relationship with PayPal. Further information on this can be found in your PayPal account.
Apple Pay
Payment will be made using the payment method you have stored with Apple.
Google Pay
Payment will be made using the payment method you have stored with Google.
Klarna purchase on account & installment payments
Purchase on account or in installments with Klarna is possible if Klarna offers this for you.
Instant bank transfer
Direct payment via the online banking service “Sofort”.
Shop Pay
Convenient payment with saved payment information.
Giropay
Payment with online banking access at participating banks.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details and a sample withdrawal form can be found on our withdrawal policy page.
Cancellation policy
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period shall be fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party other than the carrier designated by you takes possession of the goods.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Geometry, Aachener Straße 310, 50933 Cologne, Germany, Tel.: [Your telephone number], Email: info@geometry.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email).
To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.
7. Warranty and guarantees
7.1 Liability for defects
The statutory liability for defects applies.
7.2 Guarantees and customer service
If a voluntary guarantee is provided for a product, the terms and conditions will be stated in the product description or on a separate information page or in the marketing media.
8. Dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which can be accessed at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr .
